What We Do

Carningli Book Lounge is a mobile, not-for-profit children's reading space. You can find us in the Green Kids field (part of the Green Fields) at Glastonbury every year.

With our team of enthusiastic volunteers, we give festival-going children and adults a welcome opportunity to relax with a good book in our fairytale 'gingerbread tent' or under a beautiful nearby oak tree, away from the hustle and bustle of Glastonbury.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy our books and comfy cushions for free. If your book is too good to put down, you can take it away for a small charge to cover our costs.

We bring a large range of books to suit all tastes and ages, and we update our collection every year so there's always something new for our regulars.
